Payment types

Depending on your country, we have activated the following payment methods for you. To find out if you can pay with one of these payment methods, add one of our items to your shopping cart and go to Checkout page.

Currencies

We accept the following currencies depending on your shipping location: CHF, DKK, EUR, GDP, NOK, SEK, USD. Select the currency symbol at the top of the page to change the currency.

Please note: currency for some countries can not be changed in order to pay with the activated payment methods.This applies to countries whose official currency is CHF, DKK, EUR, GDP, NOK, SEK or USD.

If this is different to that of your credit / debit card or payment method, the price will be calculated by your card issuer or payment method and charged in the currency of your card or payment method.

Please note additional fees can be applied by your bank.

When will I be charged

Your card will not be charged until your order is confirmed (you will receive a 2nd email to confirm your order is ready to be prepared). However, it may show a pre-authorisation of the funds immediately upon order, especially if you pay with a debit card.

Some payment methods such as iDeal or Giropay do not allow to defer the charge of the payment. In these cases, the amount of your order will be debited at the time the order is created.

Should your order be cancelled, we will immediately cancel the charge or issue a refund.

Shipping and Delivery

What happens once your order is created

When your order is successfully created, it will first mean that you will soon be the owner of an item created byMATTIS Design Studio!

What will happen once your order is created:

1. We will confirm to you by email the items are available and ready to be packed.
2. We will carefully pack your order and we will hand over your package to the best carrier according to your country of delivery (e.g. UPS).
3. You will receive an email with a link to track the delivery of your order. You can also follow its journey by clicking here.

Delivery areas - Shipping costs

You can ship your order to any of our shipping destinations in Europe, North America, Asia, Middle East and Oceania. At checkout, simply change your location to where you would like your order shipped. We offer free delivery in Switzerland.

Please note due to border disruption, your order delivery may be delayed.

Tax and custom fees

For our customers outside the EU and Switzerland, additional customs duties and national VAT are charged directly by the local tax authorities and must be paid separately by customers.

Customs may require personal information (such as a Citizen or ID number) to clear your parcel. Please provide the information requested. Should you encounter any issues, you can contact us.

byMATTIS does not manage the tax refund. You can either contact the customs directly or have the delivery made to your delivery address.

Returns

How can I return my order

Love it or get your money back!

At byMATTIS we offer a 14-day cancellation period. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you have the item(s) you purchased in your physical possession.

To request a return, please contact us via our Customer service page or click on the “M” icon at the bottom right of your screen. We will then explain the returns procedure.

Please note that you will have to cover the cost of return of any items.

How do I prepare my return

We always recommend that you keep the original packaging, as we require that you return the item(s) you purchased in it.

Item(s) must be in perfect condition for resale. Any item(s) returned incomplete, damaged, degraded or soiled, even partially, will not be refunded.

When will I receive my refund

Depending on the shipping method, return shipping to our office may take up to 15 working days (weekends and public holidays excluded). Once received the products, we will send you an email to confirm your refund.

All refunds will be made to the payment method you have used to purchase. The amount will be available in your account in 3-5 working days, depending on the processing time of your bank.

Shipping costs, custom fees, etc. will not be refunded.

Your order will be shipped with a trackable service. You can follow its journey by clicking here. You’ll also receive a shipping confirmation email once your order is on its way. 

If the tracking number does not show any updates, please wait 24h before trying again.

The majority of our products are very fragile. We prepare all our orders with care and use only  packaging ready to travel the globe!

We will then hand over your package to the best carrier according to your country of delivery.
